Qunxing Ding, Associate professor, Biological sciences, Kent State University at East Liverpool. Dr. Ding obtained his Ph.D. from China Agricultural University, conducted postdoctoral research in University of Kentucky and joined the faculty at the Kent State University in 2007. His research focuses on the biological process of aging and neurodegenerative disorders, using microbial, plant and animal models. Specifically, the mechanism of protein aggregation, and glycation that involved in the pathogenesis of neurodegeneration and aging development are under dense investigation currently in his laboratory.
